Im only an Amateur director, but I have quite a few cameras and out of the ones I own, I'd recommend the Canon EOS 600D or 550D with a 'litepanel' on top, or the HS900 camcorder because they can all shoot in 1080p 60p and due to their low lux settings they shoot well in the dark but with both you will still need more external light coming from the camera which is why I recommend the litepanel.
Hi Zacharie - What kind of projects have you shot with those cameras? Do you have any samples on the web? Thanks!
Assuming you don't want to get up to the RED Scarlett price range, I would recommend the Canon 7D. Have shot a lot of projects using 60fps for slow mo and it looks great. Can dig pretty deep at higher ISOs without getting too noisy at night as well.
May I ask, Zacharie, what as a director you have quite a few cameras? Do you never use a DP on your movies?
It really depends on your budget.
