Gianna, I just joined (from your posting here). This looks like a tremendous opportunity, but... One of the things I've learned is-- You have to have The Team in place. You have to have a creative team behind you (and I need to build one BAD) in order to be taken seriously in venues like slated. If you are not sure, you may not be ready for it. If you're on here...
I signed up but have no references...I do have my team put together on the one particular project I'm looking for funding for. I think it could be such a great opportunity!

Yes I think Slated will definitely help with the future of independent features! It's very exclusive, which is great because it's for serious projects. I just hope I can get on there one day haha!
A few folks in there I know from Linked In. I'm pending verification. Looks like it might be a higher altitude of other site out there.
