THE MEISNER TECHNIQUE: LIVING IN THE 'IS' WORLD Over an intense five days in December, you can charge up your acting with a visit to the Meisner Technique. Scott Williams, who studied with Meisner at Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and who is the founder of The Impulse Company in London, will take you into the basic exercises of Meisner's techniques and show you how they can reinvigorate your acting. You'll move from the beginnings of the technique right through to text, culminating in work on scenes. If you've been exposed to the Technique before, come and get refreshed in it. If you've never heard of Meisner, but want your acting to be more spontaneous, truthful, and alive, this is the introduction for you. By the end of our five-day course, you'll find your acting has been re-energised by Meisner's famous concept that acting is 'living truthfully under a given set of circumstances.'
