Introduce Yourself : Actor and writer looking for advice and collaboration. by Callum Hughes

Callum Hughes

Actor and writer looking for advice and collaboration.

Hi folks, I thought I'd take the opportunity to tell you a little about who I am and what I do. As an actor I have been lucky enough to have worked a lot over the past two years of my career and have found myself in a slump where commercial theatre is leaving me cold and uninspired. I perform mainly as an actor-musician but I'm getting increasingly fed up of the lack of passion there is in London's main-stream theatre scene, yet can't really afford to work on the fringe (where there is lots of innovation) for free. Nor do I agree with working for free. As result I have taken on work as a producer and writer, founding my own non-profit theatre company (details below), which I'm finding satisfying, yet I would like someone else to bring my written work to life. As a result I've written several other stage plays, a radio drama and a TV pilot that have nothing to do with my own company and would really appreciate being able to share it with some of you in order to get some feed-back. Thanks guys and please feel free to get in touch if you have any advice.
