Introduce Yourself : Oldtimer with current skills by Jim Sawyer

Hello Everyone, I am On Demand Local Programming Coordinator for a national cable network. I place content on our outlets in Orlando and Tampa FL, Bakersfield CA, Detroit MI, Birmingham AL and Indianapolis IN markets. Also, I have been an editor for many years. I started cutting film on a flatbed. Currently I am Avid Certified on Composer, professional level on Final Cut Pro 7 and Sony Vegas Pro 10. I am a SAG member and do on-camera, voice-over and narration work from time to time. I have done web design and coding as well as graphic art in Photoshop and Fireworks. I have my own professional video camera, with mattebox, field production, sound and lighting gear including laptop editor and podcast kit. I spend some of my time working with young filmmakers on Indy videos. I have been working in film and video production as well as broadcast and cable TV since 1967, back in the black and white days. I have worked every position on a film or studio crew I can think of. Camping and woodcraft are my hobbies.
