It seems I keep going back to "Save the Cat". It's not the most the academic book but it's insightful and witty. For anyone wanting to brush up or learn about structure, I highly recommend it.

"Save the Cat" is superb and also John Truby's "The Anatomy of Story."

I love "Save the Cat"! I always end up going back to it at some point during each writing project.
Also McKee's "Story" and Vogler's" The Writer's Journey."
