Greetings! I have written the screenplay for a full length feature movie. Recently, I submitted it in the Creative World Awards competition as well as getting it professionally reviewed. For the Trend & Commercial Potential I got an overall 8.8 with some very favorable comments from the reviewer. The movie as it exists inside my head will be a world wide phenomenon. Alas, as it exists on paper, not so good, so I am thinking of entering into collaboration with a successful, professional screenwriter who would enjoy the challenge of transforming it into a 1st class manuscript, and who consequently knows something about how to transform vision into a real movie. I would ensure that all the essential ingredients remain intact. The closing paragraph of the review reads: Again, it should be emphasized that the writer has done a wonderful job of breaking new ground by tackling this challenging subject matter. It is clear what theme the writer is trying to get at, but this is a difficult story to capture on film. Hopefully the coverage above can help the writer to layout their screenplay in a way that is more conducive to the needs of cinema. Keep writing, once this concept is fully developed, it will have little trouble reaching an audience. So, who’s up for it? As we speak, I am now weeks away from publication of my first novel which is intimately linked with the screenplay. The project calls for someone with insight and intuition of the human condition who hopefully is also familiar with the music of Mahler and Max Bruch.
ooh, tempting, but I believe that this needs the help of someone with more experience of writing features than myself....good luck x
My movie (~90 min) would embrace special effects of the same calibre as seen in The Sin Eater written and directed by Brian Helgeland; The music ideally conducted by someone like Lorin Maazel for his sublime interpretations of the relevant parts of Mahler's 2nd and 8th symphonies. The impact of primal pain as enunciated by Janov in defining the essence of the central character. The Insight of Ouspensky and the genius of Feynman in capturing the essence of time travel, and the ability of future events to influence events that have already occurred in the past. The above ingredients are already present in the script.
