I am developing/financing a comedy film called MEGABALL$ to shoot in NYC (www.MegaBallsMovie.com). This is part of a 3 picture effort of my partner and I, operating as Oroloro Entertainment LLC (www.Oroloro.com). I serve on the NY Board of SAG-AFTRA and have been in the industry since the early 80's. I also run a filmmaker networking event in NYC called IndieNights (www.Indienights.info). You can follow me on Twitter @Oroloro or @IndieNts, on Facebook (Group Oroloro or IndieNights), LinkedIn and Slated. http://youtu.be/yF-FmyGC2CE
Clever, catchy, reasonable budget, quality production values ... all the best to you!
Thanks! We shot that scene withoout any crew, no sound, for less than $100. Can't wait to see what we can do with the feature with a busgte of just under $1mil.
G'day from a New Zealand actor now living in NYC. It's great to see locals here working on their own projects!
Here' another video we made about the project. We really shot a real batmobile at the end of this. http://youtu.be/bOZ_rtWu2dg?hd=1
Very motivational for interest and investors!
Looks very funny. (And I'm noticing many NJ spots in the trailer as someone who lives across the river from Manhattan.) Wishing you best of luck with the project.
actually, this was shot in Queens, NYC
Wow...I saw Anthony's Cold Fire Pizza and another shot too and thought Jersey. Guess all these neighborhoods meld together.

Oh, the other was all over the US. That Anthony's was the original in Fort Lauderdale. We shot in south Florida and California in the second video. I'm going to LA soon and may shoot more if I can more recognizable actors willing to say "What's MegaBalls" ....
I think it is awesome you are getting so many people to say it! Keep it up. Great thing to have in your promo video. ;)
Nice short sir , comedy is natural to me i'd love to be able to express myself in your comedic endeavors. What say you ?
