Acting : Fifty-something character actor by Michael Fletcher

Michael Fletcher

Fifty-something character actor

Good morning from Virginia. I'm relatively new here. I'm a 50-something actor, writer (but not scriptwriter) and designer. By day I work the job that sustains my family and my goals/dreams. I studied acting in college and took several years off from the stage, finally returning about 15 years ago in our church's productions (not your typical pageant, our cast has about 400 people). Last year, I branched out into the theatre community here in Richmond. I just wrapped up my third show for the year and did my first TV shoot as an extra. It's good to be back on stage. My goal and hope is that by this time next year, I'll be retired from the day job and be able to write and act full time. If your casting calls for a large, old, white guy, I just may be the person you're looking for.
