Screenwriting : So close to the green light for research. by Lyla L. Hartley

So close to the green light for research.

Some time ago I posted many projects/ideas (to write) on WattPad. I let them sit there on that site just to see how many reads each one would get. I vowed that the one that got the most reads would be written first. Well, here it is six months later. So, I went back to the site. To my astonishment I found that THE one project/idea that I put up there (which I KNOW will be the hardest one to write) had the most reads! I am sure that it will involve a motel stay for at least 3 days, food, the public bus system, a lot of walking, a tape recorder, pens, pencils, paper, a digital camera, a video camera, a half gallon of tequila, copious amounts of cigarettes and a flood of tears. So, how do I come up with the $300 needed to do the research when my only income is $200 a month in food stamps and state medical insurance for my ongoing therapy (for depression and p.t.s.d.) and my spinal-osteo-arthritis? Suggestions… ideas? Anyone? Thanks for your time and reading this. Blessed be! :)

I agree with you if I could do it for free I would. Unfortunately this is a situation that requires me to physically be at some of these places so I can recall the memories and the traumas.

I was physically in those situations. I want to be able to recall EVERYTHING that happened and I need to confront these issues as part of my therapy so I can heal.
