Introduce Yourself : American actress, singer voice actor in Cologne, Germany by Kathleen Renish

Great to be a part of Introduce Yourself weekend! I've been living and working in Cologne, Germany for the past 23 years! It was a challenge getting started here because I could only speak "restaurant German" (I was great at ordering things to eat) but then learned the language from hearing it in Cologne which was a bit of a challenge because many here speak a dialect called Koelsch. It's also a tasty beer too! I'm American, an actress, singer, presenter and English dialect coach. When I came here back in 1989 I was cast in a Broadway musical tour that toured Germany, Switzerland and Austria for 6 months. I fell in love with Europe and a nice German.
