Filmmaking / Directing : To all the people in the D (that's Detroit for the rest of you) by Anthony Crociata

I'm currently in pre-production on a film to be shot in Southeast Michigan within the next couple of months and I was wondering how all you indie film people in the Detroit area roll. Writer's groups, meet ups, events and the like. I'm in Toledo for the next half a year (planning to attend the Ann-Arbor independent film fest in March) and I was hoping to get involved in the scene while I'm here.
