What are the major draw backs to Kickstarter? I want to get a project going, but a few members of my team want to steer clear of Kickstarter because it spreads the idea for the television show around too much. Do most people agree with this idea?

I don't like kickstarter because they don't allow you to keep the money, if you don't reach your "goal."
Koo raised over $125,000 for his feature film to be shot in Durham, NC (#shoutout). Lots of good info in this article: [nofilmschool.com/2011/09/how-i-raised-125000-on-kickstarter/][1] [1]: http://nofilmschool.com/2011/09/how-i-raised-125000-on-kickstarter/
Try [www.indiegogo.com][1] - it allows you to keep the funds you raised even if you don't hit your goals. [1]: http://www.indiegogo.com
