Unless you are trying to conceal someone's identity by silhouetting them, it is generally not a good idea for your primary light source to be behind your subject! Heavy shadows on the face are almost impossible to fix in color correction without severe compromises. Diffuse or indirect lighting is more flattering for interviews. A reflector/bounce card or even a white towel draped on a chair can easily substitute for a fill light during a daytime interview.
