For those that dont know Transmedia (also known as Multiplatform Storytelling) is the technique of communicating a single narrative or theme across multiple channels both online and offline. Importantly, these channels are not only linked together (overtly or subtly), but are in narrative sync with each other. Transmedia Strategies give audiences a richer experience through engagement, collaboration and discussion. Why aren't more productions applying these methodologies to engage their audience ?
