Hello Everyone! My name is John ('JJ') George and I feel privileged to be a recent addition to Stage 32! I have had some past experiences with television and stage acting, but have mainly been type-cast in law enforcement roles as a police officer, detective, under-cover cop, FBI Agent, supervisor, etc due to my vast experiences as a 'real-life' retired police detective and police academy instructor. I have also been utilized by film directors as a law enforcement film continuity advisor, fight choreographer & weapons expert (martial arts/firearms/hand weapons instructor), and host/advisor for police documentaries. As I have been away from the business for awhile and a returning relative 'newbie', I would be very grateful for any advise from fellow members as to where I should focus my attention (mainly) to improve/increase relationships and make the best connections with those within (or looking for) someone of my particular area of experience and knowledge. I would also like to offer my services/assistance to anyone needing information, suggestions, etc for projects currently underway or on the table to brainstorm within my particular niche. Get out there, apply and work. Network via on set, not online so much. I mean do not count on Network requests for a real network. Scour projects here local to you. See Craigslist for open cast or projects. Although Clist is the dregs of society sometimes you can find a project, or budding movie maker in your neck of the woods. DO NOT PAY for anything. Other then tangible items. As an X-Det. I am sure you are aware of the myriad of schemes.
