Distribution : For Producers: Building Community Through Face-to-Face Meetups by Randy Hall

Howdy, film people! I wanted to provide a heads-up to folks about a new meetup being formed in the SF Bay Area specifically for producers and filmmakers who want to be better businesspeople (read: entrepreneurs). The idea is to tackle the wild beast that is fundraising and distribution in this new age of filmmaking. We call it "Producer Foundtry" and I'm a co-organizer. I don't want to make this spammy (perhaps I'm too late), but if you're not already a member of Meetup in the SF area, you might want to consider joining and looking for the meetup.
