Just introducing myself - even though I signed up like a month ago. I've been in newspapers most of my life and only recently went back to school at the University of New Orleans and started studying screenwriting (had the highest grade in my class too) before a new job (in that old field of newspapers) called and I moved to Fort Myers, Florida. I started my screenplay when I was at UNO but got away from it. I was actually about 20 pages away from finishing it when I moved to Fort Myers in the fall of 2012. However, thanks to Screencraft.org and its fellowship contest that I stumbled into I finished it. It was shortly after I discovered Stage 32. My screenplay "Single Stepfather" wasn't one of the three chosen by screencraft for the fellowship, but I did finish 4th of more than 1,200 entries (NOTE: Screencraft doesn't tell you where you finished but I didn't get in soooo logically it had to be the next spot right? :) ) I would like a critque of my screenplay and hope to break into the business. (Gotta make enough to sustain a return to New Orleans and make a home there again.) Soooo if anyone wants to offer help I'll be glad to listen - keep in mind I am struggling in the excess cash department. With that money thought in mind, if any exec reads it I will offer special pricing Monday through Sunday between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. ACT NOW!!!

News to screenwriting, great way to come in Michael. Maybe you'll be the next David Simon?
