Introduce Yourself : Director, actor and post artist - good to meet you all! by Allan Gildea

Hi guys, great to be on board and thanks for this exciting and inspiring community! I'm a director and actor, with 20 years on either side of the camera, and I'm also a professional post production artist working on a Bafta winning show for CBBC. I'm expecting to direct my first feature this year, an action fantasy romp called Vampires vs Leprechauns (Honestly, despite the title the script is really good!), and the project has already secured U.S. distribution through Inception media. As an actor I've worked with Paul Greengrass in "Bloody Sunday", Richard Attenborough in "Closing The Ring" and more recently had a small role in the Bafta nominated "Good Vibrations". I'd be keen to develop professional projects with producers interested in big canvas stories in any genre except schlock/horror. I'd also be happy to audition or read for quality roles.
