Post-Production : Avid Technology by Salah Labidi

Hey, anyone got news on avid and what's really going on ? I've heard big announcements are coming next month. I'm worried I can't live without Pro Tools (well it would make it complicated at work). So rise of the phoenix or death star ? Maybe someone in the inside could give us some intel ! Thanks for reading.
