I love to write. I wrote bad fan fiction starting from 7th grade when, for the first time, I realized that all of those TV shows and movies I watched had people write them before they went on film. For some reason, I hadn't thought about it. One writer, though deceased by that time, stood out to me as having an extremely creative mind and always told a sharp, engaging story: Rod Serling. My inspiration for putting pen to paper for the first time. Since then, I've written short stories and short audio dramas. I've written comic book scripts (but I'm no artist and I don't know anyone who can draw them). I have yet to attempt a full-length screenplay. It's time -- I've read Syd Filed and Robert McKee and Blake Snyder; it's time to put that knowledge to use, and (of course) the skills from the short story and the comic books and the audio dramas. I've lurked here long enough. Time to start using this wonderful resource, starting with Introduce Yourself Weekend. So, Hi All! Thank you to those I've already connected with, and here's to some more connections. Hopefully this will prove a worthwhile time investment for me to find some work and meet some great people that can help me and that I can help in return.
