Melech Mechaya's "Gente Estranha" music video has just been released! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xpn7dqQy66A "Gente Estranha" ("Strange People", English title), marks the third time I sat in the director/writer chair to produce one of Melech Mechaya's music videos - the first being "Dança do Desprazer" in 2010 (Dance of Displeasure, informal English title), followed by "Los Bentos" in 2012, having both garnered incredible international acclaim in film festivals worldwide, including an award for "Excellence in Directing" at the Los Angeles IFFCA. After its debut in both Portuguese and Spanish television, the "Gente Estranha" music video hit the internet in high gear, gathering nearly 2500 views in little over 24 hours and spreading like wildfire through all social media platforms. "Gente Estranha" is also the title of the new album by Melech Mechaya, now in selected stores and on iTunes. In their eighth year of existence, Melech Mechaya have now become the most prolific and internationally acclaimed klezmer band from western Europe.
