But feel free to ask me about any of it. I am still crediting any of you that have already taken courses with me before. •Act Tactical (First two weeks every month beginning 4/02)• 2-Day Course for TV/Film Firearms & Fighting Bundle (16 hours): $340 3-Day Course Bundle TV/Film Firearms, Fighting, Tactical Vehicle Operations/Practicals (24 hours): $490 Act Tactical will be held in all day portions for those that had to travel long distances or have tight schedules. They will be classes of 8 people and require a 25% deposit of the appropriate fee to reserve a seat. The firearms/tactics portions will be very detailed training in the SAFE operation and SAFE function of pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns. You will be instructed on the nomenclature of each firearm, the function of each part,how to load them, and how to clean them. Drills throughout the day will consist of the following for each firearm: proper grip/stance, administrative loading, speed reloads, tactical/combat reloads, one-handed/injured arm reloads, drawing/presenting each firearm, transitioning from pistol/long gun. We will cover the proper way to wear each firearm and other gear. Tactics will include room clearing, compromised positions (on your back or side), teammate maneuvers, various firing position options, use of cover/concealment, proper way to breech doors (forced and unforced), flashlight techniques, and other adaptive urban tactics. The fighting/knife fighting course will cover theories, techniques, and principals from various disciplines to include the following: Krav Maga, Israeli Knife Fighting, Kali (Filipino knife fighting), boxing, grappling, improvised weapons, street fighting. We will be doing gun, knife, and stick disarms as well. The tactical vehicle operations will be training to function and maneuver firearms inside and around vehicles. This will be to build up skills working with teammates and proper firearms safety around others. Stunt driving instructor, Stefan Gutman (SAG), will be operating the vehicles at all times for safety. We will do drills such as driver down (gaining control of the vehicle when your driver is shot), shooting from a moving and stationary vehicle, shooting from a box 90 (sliding parallel park), shooting after a J-turn (reverse 180), and more. The practicals will consist of officer/teammate rescue, search warrants, protecting a client, and others.
