hello everyone, I'm David, I'm new to the site. I've worked in broadcast TV as a videographer and commercial editor for about 12 years, and I'm currently trying to pursue a dream I've had for most of my life- to tell stories for the big screen. This is a wonderful site and I'm looking forward to exploring it more and getting to know as many of you as I can. Thank you to everyone that's either requested to join my network or allowed me to join theirs.

Did you direct me in Cliveden England in your play of Beckett's Endgame in 1976, where Megan Edwards and I lived in garbage cans and Larry Friedlander threw banana & orange peels at us?

ummm... no.
Hi David. I just learned AVID editing last year, had to do it for school, it's always an ongoing learning process, but I really enjoy playing around with the program. I am an aspiring screenwriter also. Congratulations on your Emmy, and welcome!
hi Ingrid. That's very cool about your progress on Avid. There are so many editing platforms now, still the top three are probably Avid, Premiere, and Final Cut. But I think it's a useful tool for a screenwriter, to understand how scenes cut together. Thank you so much for your well wishes.
Great to have you as a member, David. Best of luck to you! Keep contributing to the lounge posts- we really value your insight! :)
hi Shannon, thank you very much. All the best to you in all your endeavors as well!
And those well wishes are heartily sent to you as well Vassilis, thank you very much. I wish you nothing but the best in your career endeavors!
