Financing / Crowdfunding : Short Form Investment Sample by Sonny Dyon

Hey there fine people...I'm doing an Indy Short that I plan on primarily using as a calling card for my fledgling production company. We've got two major projects we're trying to fund and one of the stumbling blocks has been, "Yeah, but what have you done so far?" So...I wrote a cool little short and I've got the crew and cast ready to rock and now it's just a matter of funding. I'm looking at raising $16k for production and another $8k for post. I've raised nearly $10k through a few friend investors and I'm going to reach out to a few more folks, but my thing is I need something very simple that says, "hey, I'm investing X amount of dollars, I understand I'm not guaranteed to get it back, etc." I've got standard investment forms but they're like 5 pages long and really way too formal for the crowd I'm working with. I really need a 1-2 page simple short form for indy films. Anybody got anything like that? Thanks so much!!! Sonny
