Introduce Yourself : Writer and Producer by Derek Boyd Hankerson

Hello my name is Derek Boyd Hankersin and I am a producer with Freedom Road Productions. Jus this morning we filmed a short video with children from the Boys and Girls club at the St. Augustine Visitor Information Center (VIC) St. Augustine. The VIC currently houses the exhibit Journey: 450 Years of African American history. This video production will highlight 450 years of the African American Experience in St. Augustine and use the backdrop of the exhibit as part of the story. This video will be part of a larger presentation and panel discussion I'm on in July 11-14 at the World Futures Society Conference titled: African Americans 2016 and Beyond. Also, we will be film another short video next week in Orange Springs. Additionally, we have 2 other films on post production one on Bicycling and another on Dades March.
