Introduce Yourself : Hi, nice to meet you! by Shirley Eckhardt

In February 2013, after my yearly visit to the International Film Festival in Rotterdam the Netherlands, I decided that I wanted to immerse myself in filmmaking and photography. That same month I enrolled in a Camjo course at Open Studio in Amsterdam the Netherlands, during which I took the opportunity to make some documentaries. I met some inspiring people and got the chance to tell their stories in a visual and creative way. This experience enforced my desire to connect to people and tell their stories. Late September 2013 I joined the Digital Film Making course at SAE Institute, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I wanted to expand my skills in different fields of filmmaking. From then on, I’ve been working on a variety of projects; collaborating with Mederick Pacaud, now my business partner. We inspire each other creatively and unite our visions and skills.
