The five types of highly unsuccessful screenwriters

Cherie Grant

I'm perilously close to The Juggler.

Päivi Holländer

Oh goodness... well the first step is recognizing... :)

Felicia Kane

I am trying my best not to be a juggler. But I sometimes cannot not help it with my classes haha. This was a great piece to read though, kinda helped me to slow down and just on one piece at a time.

CJ Walley

I'm at least two and a half of these depending on what time of day it is.

Cherie Grant

which two and half CJ?

CJ Walley

The Juggler sometimes, the Speed Demon now and then, the Re-write King for some period of time. And where's THE FUTILE? The writer who gets up in the morning feeling they can take on The World and, by the evening, is sobbing into a bar of chocolate with their cats as they watch Grey's Anatomy.

Hugh Michael Brownstone

I can't think of anything more rewarding than being part of a writer's room...

Päivi Holländer

Maybe because Futile doesn't have anything to show around? :) This was interesting because it's from someone one the other side. I found it via The Inside Pitch's (also here now) blog radio, this guy really says it how it is regarding the loglines and pitches (people have ten minutes to pitch). Absolutely must hear! http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theinsidepitch/2014/05/13/episode-15

Thank you for posting this. I'm am sooo the Rewrite Queen!

Varun Prabhu

I tend to re-write often...I am trying to avoid that

Allen Lawrence

Thak you for the article. While I do a lot if rewrites, I do move on and enjoy the next project. Glad I don't fall into any of the negative categories.
