Hello my fellow New Yorkers!! I need you guys help! I'm planning to move to the big apple soon, but have no place to begin. I want a one room apt with a reasonable price value. So I can have a job to pay the bills and focus more so on my acting endeavors. If you can help me in any way I would greatly appreciate it :).

welcome to NYC! if you want a 1-room apartment we call that a studio. if you are on a budget you might want to consider sharing an apartment, not only is it cheaper but you are not tied down to a lease, and to get an apartment you'll need to already have a job making 40x the rent. also you might have to pay a fee which can be as much as 15% of the annual rent!
