On Writing : Tried by Rob Ricards

Tried

My own little company, 356 Company, (https://www.facebook.com/pages/356-Company/299473996879418?ref_type=book...) frequently puts on my work. Many attempts have been made to find an agent for that work, but list are full - apparently. What more can one do for tried and tested work?

Hi Rob, all I can suggest is take productions out on the road. Look for Fringe festivals and other small venues outside your local area and try and get reviewers along to see the productions. That might attract the interest of agents if they can see that your plays have appeal outside of the 'friends and family' network they tend to assume is the limit of a small company's audience. All the best, Andy

Thanks, Andy, we're in the process of doing what you suggest. Also, eternally, submitting to agents. V best, Rob
