Introduce Yourself : Putting Acting and Poetry to MUSIC by Cherene Snow

Hey Everybody!!! My name is Cherene and I Am an actor/singer/composer/lyricist/poet and arts educator! My first film was "Cooley High", at the age of 13 and I've been acting ever since! I have an extensive background in Theatre and a degree from Illinois State University! Being a Chicago native, I have also lived in Los Angeles (9yrs) and New York City (almost 16 yrs)! Although Chicago is my place of birth and growing up, NYC is now my home ( I'm moving back next month)!!! I've realized my dream of debuting on Broadway with "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" in Feb of 2013!! Aside from having a career as an actor, I have been an arts educator for more than 20 years and in 2007, I added music and poetry to the mix! I've written over 60 poems with a dream of publishing a series of books of poetry! I Am even more Excited about My Music! I have written more than 60 songs and am currently preparing a KICKSTARTER campaign to help fund my very first MUSIC CD! I look forward to Sharing my Music with the World and being a lyricist for other artists, as well! So nice to Meet Ya!!!
