Screenwriting : Aspiring Writer! by Michael Long

Greetings everyone! I'm an aspiring screenwriter/playwright (yes, I know they are too very different things). My hobby is writing screenplays and plays for the stage on a variety of topics. Just submitted a play to a prestigious contest. Fingers are crossed. I have a number of writing projects in various stages of development. In my day job I'm a professor of Russian and German and my research interests are on cultural topics relevant to the former East Bloc. I'm here at Stage32 looking for inspiration, knowledge, and people with similar interests.
