Stage 32 Meetups : Las Vegas Meetup -- My Karma Meter by Robert Scoville

I was looking to do some networking this weekend on Stage 32 and for the 3 years I've been a member, I've primarily stuck to keeping my personal network limited to local people from Las Vegas. Today, I inadvertently sent a request to someone from New York City and noticed that her Karma Meter was at 437, while mine is at a dreary 1. I realized that I am not doing my best to network, nor am I doing my best to put out good vibes that draw people to me. Although I am now rethinking my strategy of specifically networking only with people from Las Vegas, (but rather I will try to network with others out of my city as well), it is still my intention to meet with people who live near me and begin the process of trying to increase the communication level within my own personal vicinity. You don't have to be from CA or NY or SC or LA to have a good network of talented filmmakers. I believe there are plenty of people hiding right here in Las Vegas, NV. Look me up and let's get together. I personally find it more suitable to meet for a first time in a quiet place, like a library or a park, but if anyone else has a reasonable idea where a group of penniless filmmakers can get together, let's hear it! I look forward to meeting people in my town!
