It is what it is

Hello writers, actors, mimes, and aristocrats of any nature. Let's start from the beginning which isn't always the best place to start. I'm a Southern California native and was also pressed to be labeled by anyone who had crossed my path. Whether it had been stereotyped as a tough tom boy or a weird crazy girl, people always had felt affected by my presence. Growing up as the third child out of four kids in a deaf culture household made me somewhat of an outcast not by choice. My mother was a photographer and I remember hating the spotlight, since the only time I was under one for the most part was connected to negativity. Fast forwarding to high school days, I never belonged to any cliche clique. I had friends from any type of clique, to me, if you loved my impulsive need for adventure or could handle me being a loud blunt girl to authorities forced to be reckoned with. Cinema and music was my only vital source of life, my labyrinth, if you will. I fell Into this business unknowingly growing up, from my mother using my face to win awards from her class to older peers photographing me just for whatever reason. It wasn't until I started associating with artists from ucsb and having them beg to set shoots, I was told of how unique and animated I am. They say a picture is worth a million words and apparently I had a lot to say. Present: Each and everyday I work a project , whether it be a music video, promo commercial, or film, I feel nirvana. Growing up with both parents being deaf was not only a struggling challenge but I never felt a sense of belonging. The entertainment business gave me life, it has awakened so many things and unlifted hidden talents. What entertainment has done for me and all that I care for in my aspirations of success is how I finally felt happiness, life, and content of the unknowing risks we all as a family, from the tiny pa to the director all are together as one. No one can ever define the definition of talent but if I can make one person feel moved, inspired, laugh, hate, or cry; I know it was cinema, the light within me, provided that and that is my true nirvana. To have found my home.

I just looked at your Backstage link, and on the 3rd line under films it seems to have an error of some kind. You might want to fix that - jibberish coding. Also, you should consistently capitalize all the proper nouns on your resume. (Title, Role, Prod Co, Location) You have a real cool look - good luck!

Brittany Riley

Thank you for that, I will have to see what might have happened.

Welcome Brittany! Best wishes to you in all you pursue :)
