Great Vlog. Reassuring with good practical information

I’m looking for a good entertainment lawyer and a agent seeking new content to represent. I’m sitting on three marketable firms scripts.

Cheers! Max Yaney here. I am a screenwriter based in Los Angeles who came onto the scene when the original screenplay SMOKE that I co-wrote went into major territories such as Lionsgate, Paramount, New Line, Warner Bros, Fox, and Sony; with Relativity Studios picking up the sale of the script.

I have written and developed projects with many production companies, been a guest speaker on screenwriting at Monmouth University and Drexel University and interviewed by Final Draft.

Before my career as a screenwriter, I worked on the television shows Sex and the City, Third Watch, and Married and several films such as McFarland USA, The Interview, and The Hero.

Currently, I am busy cracking new stories for new specs, same as all of us :)

Thank you, Max for the clarity of your vlog. It was really helpful. I’m coming to a point when I need an entertainment lawyer. You mentioned the 5% fee of your income. That’s fine, but I was wondering if they ask also for payment up-front, is that a red-flag? Or is that the norm?

Hello Max, I hear many people saying they're Thought Leaders but many are called and a few are chosen, which one are you? I am doing an app on that subject and would like to speak with someone like you about that special topic. I believe that all of us have Thought Leader qualities but neglect to take the deep dive to discover the rare gems of Thought Leadership with Mastermind perspectives. I've been thinking leadership most of my life and the early stages that it takes a lot of deep quantum thought to make a good Thought Leader. May I ask you a question, what are the qualities of a genuine Thought Leader and Mastermind?
