Do you think a writer could sell ideas, than a whole screenplay?

Expand commentHi Sophia S. Sterling! Many have! The low budget RomComs you see from Reel One are often picked up by a well-crafted logline that leads to a greenlight for an outline and then a greenlight for a script (but those are non-union and do not pay the same as WGA-sold scripts). Shane Black famous sold an idea off something he wrote on a napkin. So it's possible, but definitely harder when you're first starting out because people want to read a script to know that you know how to write. If you shoot me an email at success@stage32.com, I'm happy to answer any other questions you have and talk about your writing goals!
Hello. What's the likelihood of converting your screenplay into a novel, for it to be taken up as a screenplay?
Likelihood is about a million to one as is the case with most screenplays, but a bestselling novel will definitely help.
Money...u pay, someone knowing does it for you...you get the credit (if that comes up to be a deal)
Yes it does ;).

Also, I would love to try my hand in producing before I die.
Keep writing and keep safe people.

Hello. Pleased to be a part of your network.
Hello. Nice to link with you, Mr. Joffrey.
Hello. I started off writing crap, and now I think I've honed it, into something that is different. Hopefully, not crap. Poems were my beginning and now novels is my go to, as for writing and publishing. I did work for a production company for a short while. Where I did learn some of the inside work...

Poems were my beginning and now novels is my go to, as for writing and publishing. I did work for a production company for a short while. Where I did learn some of the inside workings as a writer. As well the knife in the back scenario, but alas such is the industry. So here I am now trying to learn what's this thing call networking. Please to chat and see what could come from it. How to network like a pro, or so.
