Brian Thomas: Comedian, actor and crafty in Kissimmee, Florida.

I FINALLY got a little bit of work as a Background Actor. Its official Ill be on screen in a few scenes. Im SO excited!

Hello everyone! My name is Brian, and I'm from central Florida...now that I have restated what is in the title, let's get down to business. I am a 31 year old aspiring actor, writer, and comedian. Since I was a small child (as opposed to a large child), I have been told that I should be a comedian, or an actor. I spent a few years living in California, saying how I'm going to write jokes, and go to this or that audition, and never doing it. Maybe I was scared, maybe I was not motivated. Now I am. The problem I have is I don't have a car to get to auditions, or comedy clubs. I also don't know how to "write" a joke. Truthfully making people laughs eels like second nature to me. I know being funny and being a comedian are TOTALLY different but I feel like, if I'm naturally funny, shouldn't I hone that skill into something worth doing? So any input on how to hone natural comedy into an art form would be greatly appreciated. Another thing I love doing is coming up with movie pitches with my friends. Some of them are great ideas, some should be on SYFY, and other should be burned. I'd like to learn how to format and write a script. I'd like to film video shorts. I'd like to write comedy rap songs a la Weird Al, Bo Burnham, Garfunkel and Oates, Rucka Rucka Ali and such. My current living situation, I feel, stifles my creativity and I become distracted, and unmotivated. If anyone has an idea of how to open the creative floodgates, and knock down the wall known as writers block, please let me know. I am very excited to be here and I think this is a great place for creatives to get together. I look forward to what will come in the future.
