Good day to all! My name is Brian Stuckey and I am seeking to learn, show, and teach all I can. I have been filming for a number of years, but now I am ready to take things to the next level. I direct, write, and produce with some visual effects work thrown in there. Of course this work isn't easy, as we all know. Everyone would be doing it if it were. I am excited to join this community and need as much assistance from you all as possible. You can spend years trying to figure things out on your own, or you could spend days by learning from people who have already done it. As someone who is just starting out, I'm curious... how did all of you find your first job? Was it someone higher up who gave you a chance, did you "earn it" by years of PA-ing, or did you just pick up a camera one day and happen to show your project to the right people?
