Just heard about this cool film fest from a director yesterday. Wish I could go!
I'm in Post with my Horror film and interested in the current Distribution market... primarily SVOD & Theatrical = US and International.
Who has sold something to a reputable distributor and what was your MG?
Good Questions - the IIPG would like to know more so we can create more opportunities for independent film makers. If interested in being part of the dialog, register at independentproducersguild.org and consider joining the guild.

Then research the movies that are distributed and try to get a "guesstimate" on the budgets of those movies, and watch the trailers on YouTube. You'll quickly get the idea if they deal only in bad low budget movies or good low budget movies. Then see where your falls. Let them make an offer to you first though. And do try to talk to a number of distributors at once so you can compare deals, compensation.
Thanks for the connection Matt!
