I posted it on a web site in L.A.. It costs $60.00 for 4 months. Producers and Directors go there to read the Logline. If they like the Logline they call up the Synopsis. And if they like the Synopsis and are really interested, they call up the script. It can be accessed from anywhere in the world. www.inktip.com The other side of the coin.... Producers also post what they're looking for specifically. Anyone can join to see that for free... it comes right into your email... For example, here's one that came the other day... "1) Seeking High-Concept Genre Scripts (Preferred Lead 3826) We are looking for completed, feature-length high-concept genre scripts (action/sci-fi/thriller/drama). Submission should feature smart characters and dialogue, a strong hook and inspirational themes about the strength of humanity. When submitting, please include in your synopsis an explanation of what your script says about humanity that hasn't been said before. Budget will be under $5 million. Both WGA and non-WGA writers may submit" What that means is you have to have a completed script along with your Logline and Synopsis to submit. I had a ton of Loglines views... If a Producer read your script and liked it they put their contact information on the site. Which means you can send them a query letter after 3 weeks. If they really interested the Producer can contact you directly, which is what happened to me. One from California and the next day one from NYC. I know that sounds strange, but you can easily clarify that your post is not a "paid job" but rather a partnership. You'll notice other job board posts titled, "looking for writing partner." We (Stage 32) wish to keep "want ads"-- for lack of a better phrase -- out of the forums as they are for topic discussion. Or, you could also utilize the Connect feature, also found in the upper menu bar, to search our membership by occupation and reach out to someone in particular.
