Hello, I've posted in Introduce Yourself in the past but I'm posting again to try to network with more people. I have a Master's degree in Computer Science but I also have a passion for writing for TV/movies. I have a sitcom/drama that I've been working on for the past few years and I'm looking to connect with TV producers/directors (preferably in Southern Ontario, Canada) who can help me finish a pitch package and bring it to networks. The show is heavily influenced by Seinfeld and includes some similar edgy material including jokes about race, religion, and culture. Everything is done lightly however and the show is actually meant to promote people coming together from different cultures and living in peace with one another. I have 20+ episodes sketched out in rough form; hundreds more ideas for other plots and stories; and a finished pilot script that I can send to anyone interested (after signing an NDA). Greetings, I'm a computer programmer so I'm new to the TV and movie industry, but I have a passion for it! I have a hilarious sitcom/dramedy that I'm putting together, inspired by hit shows Seinfeld, King Of Queens, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I sketched out 20+ episodes and many threads of character development throughout those episodes in addition to the comical situations the characters get into. I also have lots of easter eggs, homages, and other little unique hooks in the show. The show promotes love and cultural harmony as well! Hey there, I'm a computer programmer, but I have a fantastic idea for a sitcom that I've been working on in my spare time for a couple years. Without sounding too bold, my goal is to pick up the baton from Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, as my material is inspired by those shows with many cultural, religious, and political jokes and references.
