And I would ask instead, what would be helpful to you to know about the casting process that may alleviate some pain for you. I would reply... " That Casting Directors are not generally actors and it's the director's vision in the end. I would also not get hung up on what "they are looking for" as this changes and often a director or CD do not know what they are looking for until it walks in the door.
Hi all I'm conducting a study on the top pain points for an actor when it comes to auditioning for commercials and I have one simple question for you. What is the the one question you would want to put to a Commercial Casting Director? I hope you can help with this. Thank you in advance.
Thanks Mary much appreciated.
Ahh yes Neto the good old cattle call auditions, I can't name a single actor who likes going to them. Thank you for the input.

Is the title of Producer being demeaned because of this? On IMDB its not going to differentiate which Producer is which. It will just be a long list of names under the Producer section.
Got to agree with you on this, the thing is though it works. Donate £20 get a Producer credit and then you can walk around calling yourself a Producer. It's very tempting. It would be good to find other ways to thank people for funding.
Hi thank you for accepting the invite, how are you today and how did you find out about this website?

Thanks for accepting. Cheers.

My first trade is as an actor which I have been for the last 10 years in London (UK). Second to that is the work that I do helping actors find another source of income outside of acting which keeps them away from the dreaded temp job. Hopefully I might be able to help some of you with this also through a website that will be going live soon. Third to this is editing showreels, give me a shout if you need one. Well that's me now what about you?

My last feature was a comedy and received a DVD release last month (www.hardcore-film.co.uk) Unfortunately low budgeted (as I write), it'll very much be a (paid) 'passion-project' with a beautiful visual look and an an interesting, engaging story that is very much a mood piece. My 109 page script is very different from my previous work and will shoot on location in the UK, this Autumn. If you're interested, please do get back to me and story details/full script will be given on request. In regards to acting, there'll be castings in July. Many thanks for reading Mark mark@bigbrushfilmsltd.co.uk

Some of my favourite comedians started in Vaudeville or radio. I relate to Jack Benny because our personalities are similar and our comedy style are very much alike and he has a certain sarcasm that I also have.
I know it's probably cliche, but I'd have to say Spielberg. The guy has been my top film and storytelling influence literally since I was a kid.
