FHILLY FIFTEEN[sec]FILM FEST INVITATION TO ENTER As an actor, gaining exposure can be difficult and too often not within your own control. The FF[sec]FF is designed to put access to a film competition within the reach of any talented individual. All you need is a camera-phone and an idea. Or a friend with a camera-phone and an idea, for that matter. We are seeking to recognize the greatest 15-second movie ever made... Seriously. No entry fee, no stuffy rules, anyone can compete. It’s mostly for fun but there are $16,000 of prizes and we are supported by people like CBS/Showtime and a bunch of other generous and serious folks. Hi there. I just joined this. Am a former newspaper reporter for The Dallas Morning News among others, now author and interested in screenplay writing and acting in NM. "Slavery By Another Name" is a really good book.

Howdy: I was trained in stage acting for two years in college, had major roles in two plays and minor roles in a few others. Worked as an extra in several major films made in the Austin, Texas, area. Worked for more than a decade until fairly recently, as a daily newspaper reporter. Bailed out due to lack of career opportunities and want to get into acting for film. Long been a goal.
