But Looking on the bright side, we are moving the premiere online and are working to get it on Prime Video. I think it is a good thing because we can still get our audience to watch as they stay safe at home.
During this period we need to be innovative and creative in our work and in getting our art and craft out to the target audience. We can also carry this over to the when this craziness ends. I hope everyone is staying safe as we create and share our art.
Here is the trailer

Expand postHello,
I am an experienced DP and Steadicam operator. I have worked on television shows, web series, shorts and feature films. Some I produced and directed. I am currently working on a web series "Choosing Chastity", streaming on youtube and we are about to start working on season 2. I am also working on a short film, my first horror film and I am loving it. I own and run my production company where we run professional post-production equipment and software. I also own cinema cameras, lights kits, and everything to make your production a reality. www.lesliedapwatda.com
Cool. I enjoy writing horror myself.
Great reel Leslie, you're talented!
Thank you, Amanda, appreciate it.

But I googled again today using different key words and a movie came up with similar premise. Heart sunk. Palm to the forehead. Anyone have experienced this? I mean two movies came out at the same time about asteroids hitting the earth, but I am just rationalizing....bummer.
Exactly Dan, that's what I'd do. I will refine the script and add details not seen on those other movies. Yours might even end up better than theirs. Don't just let it go.

Expand commentDan -- it was a story about a "mentor" and a "daughter" (both around Logan and X-23's age, actually) trekking across the desert, on the run from government killers and bandits, with the exact same theme/message, plot progression and execution, with a slightly different but still similar ending. The "daughter" character never spoke for most of Act I and II, and ends up speaking for the first time in a scene similar to the one in "Logan." There was also a "friend" like Caliban who ends up sacrificing himself while the other two are on the run from the gov. killers who try to ambush them (like how Caliban died in the film).
The only major difference is the lack of superpowers. I definitely could (and probably will) end up going back to the treatment and rewrite it into a different script, but that version is a no-go.
And I did have a climax with children -- except in my case, it was a bunch of children with a couple adults thrown in. But it's crazy how similar my treatment was to the movie.
Yes, I only have a treatment -- so you're right on that spot. I'll try that.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
