Hello Everyone! I am a published author and new resident of Chicago. I have multiple projects that are ongoing, including 2 books, and have just completed writing my first television pilot and season bible. I am in the midst of revisions and edits for the television series and I am hoping to put together a pitch packet by the end of summer. I am excited to be a part of a community of storytellers!!

I'd like to submit my short narrative film entitled "WAITING FOR THE TRAIN" a lighthearted drama, to film festivals recognized by the Motion Picture Academy of Arts & Sciences.

My question isn't one involving cinematography, however, perhaps someone in the Lounge can tackle it. I'm currently in co-development with a screenwriter in Uganda, Africa. Since there are no fundraising platforms there, as there are here in the U.S. (Kickstarter & Indiegogo); what advice can anyone offer regarding how I might successfully go about this co-producing arrangement as a Producer for this project, which is currently still in development phase.
