Hi Nancy. I'm RB, co-founder and CEO of Stage 32. I know first-hand the challenges all creatives face finding work and attracting attention to their projects. That's why we created Stage 32. Seems interesting. :) I am pretty unusual because my business centers around teaching kids skills in singing, dancing and acting. We get them on stage performing, take them on tours etc. etc. I produce music, choreography, write scripts etc so others can use our systems. I have never been involved with a site like this. It looks great. :)

Expand commentThanks for the terrific note, Nancy. And even more thanks for teaching. You are the most important of all creatives: one who pays it forward selflessly each and every day. So glad you decided to join us. One of the (many) reasons we started this site was to give students a head start on their careers by netowrking while they are learning their craft. When I was learning acting, and then later when I took up writing and filmmaking, no one stressed the importance of networking. I, like many, was just told the cream would rise to the top. But the cream also needs to be seen and sampled. And without networking, that rarely happens. Unfortunately, that's the main reason very talented creatives end up quitting. I hope you'll spread the word of 32 with your students and, if the students are too young, with their parents. We have a ton of child actors on this site. I can tell you that many have landed multiple roles through connections made here. It's been inspiring to watch. Again, thanks for joining us and for the positive vibes. I very much look forward to seeing you around these parts. RB
