Can anyone help me to secure the rights of Weinstein bros film Awake (2007) They do not respond to mail or phone calls at their NyC office. I don't even know if they hold the film rights or the writer- director does. Can I just go ahead after concerted efforts to contact Weinstein for the past 3 years? Can I adapt the story for a film to be made in India. Or will they sue the pants off me?
