Dear Production Team,
We are thrilled to submit our epic film project titled "The Guardians of Agodjié" to your esteemed production company. We believe that this captivating story, rooted in the lesser-known history of the Agodjié warriors from the Dahomey kingdom, is an ideal candidate for a cinematic adaptation that will captivate the audience and provide them with an immersive and emotional experience.
Synopsis:
"The Guardians of Agodjié" transports viewers to the 18th-century Dahomey kingdom, where Naima, a bold young villager, aspires to become a legendary Agodjié warrior. Through rigorous trials, she joins their ranks and forges a strong friendship with Zara, a seasoned warrior. Together, they defend the kingdom against external threats and internal adversaries, all while exploring the vodun traditions and solidarity that characterize the Agodjié warriors.
Vision:
"The Guardians of Agodjié" is much more than a mere action film. It's a celebration of female heroism, African culture, and the spirit of determination in the face of adversity. Through an epic storyline, the film delves into universal themes such as courage, sacrifice, and unity. It also provides a fresh perspective on West African history, shining a light on inspiring yet lesser-known characters.
Strengths:
* An epic narrative rooted in African history, offering a rarely explored perspective.
* Strong and complex female characters, encouraging identification and inspiration.
* Epic battle scenes and emotionally charged moments with cinematic potential.
* A story of solidarity and values that transcend cultural boundaries.
We firmly believe that "The Guardians of Agodjié" has the potential to captivate a wide audience due to its unique blend of action, drama, history, and emotion. We are excited about the possibility of collaborating with your team to bring this story to the big screen and share this inspiring saga with the world.
We would be delighted to further discuss the potential of this project and how we can collaborate to create a memorable and impactful film. Thank you for taking the time to consider our submission.
Best regards,
[Paul Serge Tognanhou]

The Guardians of Agodjie stand as paragons of unwavering valor, their commitment echoing through the very winds that sweep the realm. With hearts ablaze, they shield the land's sacred tapestry, each step resonating with ancestral echoes. Their unity, unbreakable as mountains, inspires hope in every soul, a testament to devotion that transcends time. In battles, their prowess is like lightning, fierce and electrifying, preserving the balance between realms. With honor as their compass, and courage as their armor, the Guardians of Agodjie kindle a beacon of resilience, reminding all that within unity lies the power to safeguard the beauty and essence of their cherished realm.

As for the "missing data" they were talking about, I do hope that there would be more transparency and that everyone always gets their fair share.
We all miss the social experience of cinema so it's great to have cool alternatives like drive-in's or a private / home theater set up (a luxury, but worth spending on for some people).
Is there a link to this? Was it recorded? Sadly was traveling on production and missed this!

I love film and am working on writing scripts for short films that myself and some friends will be shooting in the next several months. I have an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) and published a novel about 10 years ago, which is no longer in print.
Basically, I'm at square one...but I'm hoping that I'll be staking strides to fulfill my goals of Actor/Writer/Director/Producer!
Anyone want to chat movies and books (which is likely anyone on this site), drop me a line!
Starting at square one here on Stage32 is a great place to be! Site is not that difficult!
Thanks Pat Savage !
Thanks, @Anne Sostman!

Expand commentGood to meet you Quincy,
Are you looking to make money? How can we work together?
I lived most of life in Middletown, East Hampton, and North Haven, CT. Retired from teaching Old Media film and TV, I now form teams to produce from my home/office computer in many states and many countries.
Producing the best independent digital feature pilots and serialized TV episodes in the world, our tent-pole blockbusters are medium expensive ($50-75 million) and will all sell theatrically. Our AI teams are almost one full year ahead of everyone else spending no more than $1 million per project with AI studio production and will stream with Roku's best worldwide services.
With offices in now in Delaware, New York, London, Paris and India, we work from Paris in Europe. Four+ years in the European Union and all necessary pre-production has been fully completed. We are ready to move forward with the right partners
We will shoot two Seasons of our exceptional serialized TV show THE STORY OF MUSIC. The ten one-hour episodes per Season in IMAX start with the piano, but our Seasons will eventually include every musical instrument known and every form of worldwide music in every country's capital city.
We believe our TV series can take the world by music and run for at least 25 years. Starting with guest celebrities in many European capital cities, these first 20 episodes are budgeted at $25 million. Our series will advertise, promote and publicize our incredible historical feature film scheduled to shoot in 2024.
Wars, along with the political and social turmoil and upheaval that accompanied them, serve as the background for this Romantic Era feature. Our true-story European romantic costume drama, LISZT AND CHOPIN IN PARIS, features classical music; but do not let the title fool you. This feature has best been described and accepted as the "GONE WITH THE WIND" of Europe.
The common man becomes more important than all royalty as the kings, queens, nobles and even the clergy are deposed and swept away as Lisztomania and classical music sweeps across Europe to become the rage.
Our feature budget is $75 million bringing the total budget to $100 million, but we have $25 million pledged by the President of Poland and when my CEO creator meets with Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macron next month, another $25 million will be pledged by France. This first $50 million is not "start-up capital" but all Europe remains ecstatic in expectation to view this greatest ever European production.
Everything is set and arranged to produce our first episodes in Paris, Vienna, London, Warsaw, and Prague but we require €5 million to shoot and make things happen. Anything is possible.
Please read our script in a dozen languages: https://www.lisztchopininparis.com/
