This was my first professional set experience - the crew was sourced almost entirely from Medium so they operated like a well oiled machine. I learned the importance of prep work and how to fix things in prep, rather than post, especially when you're operating on a limited shooting schedule/budget.
Lately I've been focusing more on writing, but my feature film Dependa[ble] is one I think I would like to make independently. You can see some of my other independent projects and latest writing on m updated website: www.rachelatroche.com.

I'm currently working on a mini series, and almost finished episode 1 in two weeks, between the two ten minute train rides to work, and the 50 minutes I have on my lunch breaks. So far, so good. Still hustling ;) at the tender age of 40!! One day it'll be my dream come true!
I'd love to be in a position that I can sell my work but then work within production as I'm the kind of person who has to work on something start to finish, and by finish, I mean, completing the script isn't the end for me. End of production would be my end :D
Looking to connect with Producers and also, if they lurk here, Agents (mainly to pick their brains!). Specifically UK based.
Hey are you looking for a composer?
Welcome Emmy feel at home.

Expand commentWhoever told you, Christine Capone, that capitalising sights and sound in a script that's being submitted into competitions can be quite distracting was dead right. In a spec script it's not really advisable to capitalise as it diverts the reader attention to the capitalization. This creates an ugly dent in your storyline.

Script-wise, I have a handful of feature scripts and a few pilots that have been doing well in competitions. Presently beating out a western noir.
When away from Final Draft, I do sound design and mix films. I am optimistic about the journey and curious to see where Stage 32 takes me.
Have an entertaining day!
Hey Cush, lovely to meet you! Welcome to Stage 32. DO you do sound design for films only or other projects as well?
Welcome! Would love to know more about your writing goals! Feel free to write us at success@stage32.com.
Welcome Jim! Nice to meet you. Glad you're here.
Really interesting Nathan. Your answer to "what is cinematic?" is fantastic, very comprehensive response there!
Amazing
Thank you for the kind words :-)

The point where you can create life with words is just incredible. It's inspiring how the industry works, but it is also terrifying. But terrifying in a good way? I don't know. I am so excited to have started Stage 32 and what adventures it'll bring. If you ever want to chat and create or throwback ideas, I would love to chat! Can't wait to get started and meet all these incredible people!
Good luck. Feel free to jump in feet first.
Your enthusiasm and determination at such a young age are truly inspiring! Remember, every great creator faced obstacles, but their resilience led them to success. Stay persistent, and the world will be yours to explore!
Welcome Paxton I know its not easy especially at your age but enjoy the ride...
