SYNOPSIS:
The story follows Jennifer Sullivan, a young woman who competes in and wins the Miss America pageant. However, it is revealed that Jennifer's mother Juliana left her homeless father William (Bill) Headley after they lost everything in the 9/11 attacks. Juliana lied that she was a 9/11 widow to start a new life with politician Patrick Sullivan, with whom she had an affair. Jennifer reunites her father Bill with their old family driver Fred. She gives up her Miss America title and crown to the first runner up, Jodi Giovanni. Jennifer and Bill receive millions of dollars in compensation from the 9/11 Commission and an insurance payout. They donate money to the homeless shelter Jennifer volunteered at and buy them their building. In the end, Jennifer, Bill and Fred are reunited and driving off together in a Rolls Royce. Jennifer gets a call from Hakeem, the homeless man who helped save her father's life years earlier. The story comes full circle about characters helping those less fortunate. The key themes are homelessness, infidelity, greed, redemption through selfless acts, and the class divides in society. It also explores the aftermath and lasting impacts of the trauma of 9/11 on this family.

This film sounds pretty interesting. I can see a picture perfect woman with a perfect life becoming undone realizing that her family isn't as perfect as it seems.
